Can you put an Octopus Card in Apple Wallet?

Yes. Since iOS supports Octopus in Apple Wallet, you can add a digital Octopus Card straight to your iPhone or Apple Watch and tap to ride the MTR, buses, trams and the Star Ferry, or pay at convenience stores. No physical card, no queue at the airport.

How to add it, step by step

  • Open the Octopus for Tourists app or Apple Wallet and choose "Add Octopus".
  • Pick a new card or transfer an existing physical card.
  • Top up with Apple Pay and you're ready to tap.
